Iams’ Keep Love Strong Commercial – “Welcome Home”

Today my family -okay my wife and our five dogs -received word that an Iams commercial Andrea did with our Irish Wolfhound ‘Monster’ was chosen as their next national TV spot. Apparently it has already begun airing across the country as we have received several messages from friends and family letting us know that they’ve seen it. If you haven’t seen the 30-second commercial you can view it below. I’m so proud of both of them, they did a great job!

    My parents have an Irish Wolfhound “Brogan” who looks exactly like yours. We LOVE this commercial!!! This is how ours behaves when my dad returns from business trips. They even make the same noises, Lol

    great add, awesome to see a wolfie on tv! i grew up with wolfhounds and have been looking into adding one to the family lately, monster if beautiful i love the shaggy look, if you dont mind me asking who was his breeder?

    That would be a question for my wife as she is the one who tracked down a good breeder. I know we had to travel to Arizona (we live in CA) to get him. I’ll ask her and get back to you. Thanks for stopping by.

    thanks i’d appreciate it. im in California as well and have found a few good breeders around, but most around here are blonde and fawn colored and i really like the grey shaggy hounds like yours

    Go to the Irish Wolfhound Club of America’s website, we have a list by state of good breeders. Local dog shows is another great way to find your local responsible IW breeders. In Arizona I can think of Pinehurst kennels, perhaps that is where Monster is from?
    Super thrilled to see the Irish Wolfhound getting recognition for the complete loves that they are!

    Loved,loved this commercial. First please thank your wife for her service. Monster is beautiful with that grey, shaggy hair. Loved the end where they are both lying on the drive way hugging.. Such a wonderful show of affection. I hope we see them in other spots as they are both naturals.

    We have an Irish Wolfhound mix who behaves just like urs. He was a rescue and we absolutely love him. And all of our pets have been raised on IAMs and lived long, fulfilled lives.

    I was so surprised to see this ad! Our first wolfhound, CoNia, is almost 2 years old now, and we love her so very much. Monster is a great looking dog, and shows the love they so willingly give! Love the ad! Thanks for sharing your wonderful dog this way!

    Awesome commercial! I really would like to thank your wife for her military service and for sharing her welcome home with the world! I know being away from family is hard!

    This commercial really captures how much this breed loves their people! Monster defiantly loves his person and I am sure the rest of the family!

    I have two Wolfies at home and even though I am only gone to work for no more than 7 hours a day I get the same welcome! They really think they are lap dogs!

    Wow! I don’t think I have ever ever loved a commercial as much as I love this one! I can’t thank you enough for inviting the world into your family’s life with as much openness as you have done. I have a dog at the other end of the size spectrum, a chihuahua named Maggie. I’m disabled due to chronic pain and she is my constant companion. My kids are grown and having her around all day every day with me has spoiled us both as well as filling the void left when my nest emptied out. I love her very much and I see that same depth of love in the commercial your wife shot with Monster. Anyway, just wanted to say that the commercial touched me and to thank your wife and puppy for doing it.

    Don’t know if I’d say he’s average size, but he’s is still growing. He’s about 38 inches at the shoulder last we measured, which is slightly higher than our kitchen counters, so reaching things on the counter (or stove) are not an issue for him.

It warms my heart to see that my husband and I are not the only ones who give and receive love like that from our animal family members, We have had up to 5 dogs at once.
